Join a Team¶
Join an existing LEADR account using an invite from a teammate. This lets you collaborate on games and boards without creating a separate account.
Prerequisites¶
- Download and install the LEADR app
- An invite email with a 6-digit verification code (see Inviting Teammates)
Accept Your Invite¶
Step 1: Start the Join Process¶
Open the LEADR app and press r or select Register from the main menu.
When prompted, choose option 2 "Accepting an invite to join an existing account".
Step 2: Enter Your Email¶
Enter the email address that received the invite. This must match the email your teammate used when sending the invitation.
Step 3: Enter the Verification Code¶
Enter the 6-digit code from your invitation email.
Can't find the email?
Check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, ask your teammate to send a new invite from the LEADR app.
Step 4: Set Your Display Name¶
Enter your display name. This is how you'll appear to teammates on the account.
This field is optional - if you leave it blank, we'll use the part of your email before the @ symbol.
Step 5: Done!¶
You'll see a success screen confirming you've joined the team. Press Enter or Esc to return to the dashboard.
After Joining¶
You now have full access to:
- All games on the team's account
- All boards on each game
- Creating new games and boards
- Editing existing games and boards
- Viewing and resolving score flags
Your API key is automatically generated and saved to your local config file, just like when registering a new account.
